Niall, Josh, Niall, we'll start with you.

Let's start with the ninth hole.

What was your perspective on what happened, and how did you guys let that from becoming a pote- potential turning point for the Americans?

Yeah, I mean, it was completely, completely on me.

I've hit the six footer, I've missed it like an idiot.

But, I had a foot back, and I just dragged it away like I'm in a, in a Sunday bounce game, but those aren't the rules of golf, and you screw up.

But it's, not about how you screw up, it's about how you bounce back, and we've bounced back amazingly.

Josh, you were selected to this team largely because of your performance on this links earlier this summer.

What is it about Lahinch that brings out the best in your game?

I think it's a spectacular place.

You see all the crowd out here is, is unbelievable and, I mean, they're right behind us, and it doesn't get better than that.

And then when you add that to the golf course, it, it's special.

Niall, how important are emotional, emphatic wins like this on day one?

Yeah, I think momentum's a big player in a, in match play, and especially on a week like this where you've got, you've got an entire team around you.

If you can, if you can get some golf going, try and get some energy throughout the entire team room, I think it, it plays a big part for sure.
