Debating if Shohei Ohtani is just the most unique or really the greatest in baseball, given his exceptional dual skills. How will Ohtani change baseball?

Is Ohtani the most unique player in baseball history, or is he the greatest player in baseball history?

He's certainly the best player in modern times, all right?
Ohtani has-- I mean, come on.
Babe Ruth did not face, you know, 17 different pitchers all throwing a ball 100 miles an hour.
All right?
He didn't face all these different teams.
Remember, the African Americans weren't involved when Ba- Babe Ruth played.
They came along with Jackie Robinson 20 years later.
So it, different game.
Not to mention all the, players in the, Central America and all those guys.
I mean, the c- level of competition is better nowadays.
Now that being said, they only had, what, 12 teams back then, so he had it more-- he was facing better, theoretically better players, all right?
Because they, wasn't spread out over 30 teams.
I get that as well.
But Ohtani's a unicorn.
We're never gonna see this again.
This is Bo Jackson all over again.
That's really what it is.
A guy who was great football player and damn good at baseball as well, right?
We just don't see that guy in the same sport who's great at both, right?
He's a all-star at both.
Could be a Cy Young if he just took to pitching.
I have no doubt he could be here.
We know he's a fantastic hitter.
He's a unicorn, Dan.
