Skattebo slated to be Giants' lead running back

Coming off a severe lower leg injury, Giants running back Cam Skattebo has been one of this off-season's most hotly debated fantasy football options, Denny Carter.
he's apparently been recovering well.
He seems on track to participate in training camp to be ready for week one.
Believe you've told me several times he was spotted doing a back flip, at a softball game.
seems healthy, seems ready to be a top tier back, quote unquote.
That was the label he got from John Harbaugh.
The Giants did not add competition in the draft or free agency.
Skattebo currently going around the RB 1920 range.
Are we may be missing out on potential RB1 upside if we let him fall that far?
You know, I think so in PPR formats, because really what Skattebo has going for him i, in this Giants offense, at least he did last year, hopefully into this year, i, two things: a goal line role, I think, and a pass catching role, I think.
And so if you combine those two, if those two come to fruition, that's a pretty good profile for any fantasy back, especially one as efficient as Skattebo.
Now, is this Giants offense going to be good enough to support, you know, a top 12 running back?
I don't know.
You know, will Tyrone Tracy cut into his workload?
Maybe.
I Th- these are things we can't discount.
But at RB 19, I feel very comfortable taking him, assuming he's going to be 100% healthy for the start of the season.
Yeah, Denny, as you alluded to, a lot of questions around this Giants offense.
One of them does not appear to be who the lead running back is.
They've signaled all off-season it's Cam Skattebo.
Now head coach John Harbaugh's just coming out and saying it.
