South Carolina Beats Florida 38-19, Snaps Eight-Game SEC Losing Streak

South Carolina beat Florida 38-19 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday. The win snapped an eight-game SEC losing streak under Shane Beamer and gave the Gamecocks their first conference win in 378 days, plus only their third win ever in that stadium. LaNorris Sellers threw for 279 yards and four touchdowns, including a 26-yard score to Donovan Murph, and also ran one in. The Gamecocks shut down Florida's ground game and forced three takeaways. Florida scored first on Bailey Stockton's 59-yard catch, but this is the second straight loss for first-year coach Jon Sumrall since the Gators reached the top 10 by upsetting Ole Miss.
