St. Louis Blues 2026 NHL Draft Pick Commits To NCAA's Providence College
St. Louis Blues 2026 seventh-round pick Colin Fitzgerald has committed to Providence College in the NCAA for the 2027-28 season.

I'm looking at St. Louis a lot this summer, Ryan.
You know, both as a dark horse team to make the playoffs, and call me crazy because they are in that central, but I think we could be talking a lot about Jimmy Snuggerud, uh- Nice by the end of the year, as well as Mason McTavish.
Like, you know, we'll see what a change of scenery can do for him.
Like, didn't seem like he was getting as much ice time in Anaheim or opportunity.
Now that he's in St. Louis, he's, you know, potentially get a chance to play with Robert Thomas.
I think we could be talking about, you know, a lot of St. Louis players, but particularly Jimmy Snuggerud and Mason McTavish.
Yeah, I like the Snuggerud one.
I could easily see him getting 40 goals this upcoming season.
Wow, 40?
Why not, right?

Like, could I mean, what's If you think about it, coming up, like, there wasn't a lot of difference between him and Dylan Gunther in terms of profile.
Right?
In terms of, like, size and shot.
And, and Snuggerud has so far been very good, and we've seen Dylan Gunther break through in Utah.
So I'm- Yeah I'm, I'm curious.
I'm, I'm interested to see how fast Snuggerud can hit yet another level.
'Cause I, I agree with you, I think there's a ton of potential there.

The obvious one is Demidov in, in Montreal.
I mean, I- I think he's gonna be a 30 to 35 goal scorer.
I mean, he put up over 60 points as a 20 year old, so.
But I'll gi- I'll give you one that everybody said he was gonna get traded, and I, and I thought it would've been, would've been stupid for them to trade him based on the fact that he was injured for most of the year and still got over 40 assists, and that's Matthew Knies in Toronto.
I think healthy Matthew Knies playing with either Tavares or Auston Matthews will be a 30 to 35 goal scorer.
And that, for him, is a breakout.
