As we continue to look at the 2026 NHL draft targets for the St. Louis Blues, today, we take a look at a dynamic and possibly still growing forward in Wyatt Cullen.

So do you think that now with Armstrong stepping down, is-- if you look at this team right now, and if you're the new GM stepping in, do you think this is a Blues team that is worth adding onto right now, or do you think they should finally go in, go all in on this rebuild?
It sounded as if Doug Armstrong was emulating Michael Corleone trying to, complete all family business by making and putting everybody out there at the deadline.
He did trade Brayden Schenn.
He did trade Justin Faulk.
but, you know, we heard the talk about Parekh go to Buffalo.
There was Robert Thomas rumors to, to Buffalo, and we know it, it's famous that, Thomas and Kyrou were out there.
Do I think all of them were out there?
No.
I think he was tr-- he was-- it was a fishing expedition to see how much he could get, and he did get good returns on Schenn and on Faulk.
So, I think that Alex Steen, who is now stepping into the GM spot, is probably gonna take a little bit of a different approach.
unless you're getting overpaid for Robert Thomas, you don't move him.
He's one of the best playmakers in the league.
I think the only one that the, the, the clock is ticking on is Binnington.
He's entering the final, final year of his contract.
I think that he-- th-there's a fifty/fifty chance he gets moved because there are teams out there like Edmonton, like Buffalo, who m-may want to upgrade or address the goaltending situation.
It's gon- you know, it'll probably bring back a prospect and a first-round pick, but that might be a move that Steen would be willing to do simply because you don't know whether Binnington's gonna re-sign in St. Louis.
So I don't think they're gonna go down the rebuild road.
I think they're just basically gonna try to add as many young players as possible, and they have that group that's in their mid-20s, and they could turn it around and make the playoffs in a year or two.
