Steelers' young offensive line is the best part of their 6-2 start
Alan Saunders uses the Steelers' bye week to argue that the offensive line coming together is the biggest development of the 6-2 start to 2026. He credits Zach Frazier's All-Pro level play, Brock Hoffman's fit at right guard next to Frazier and Mason McCormick, and Troy Fautanu's move to left tackle. He also notes that pass protection against top edge rushers hasn't really been tested yet. Saunders ties the line's progress, and the defensive line's growth, to the trenches investment by Omar Khan and Andy Weidl and to James Campen's coaching. He then explains why that foundation matters for whoever replaces Aaron Rodgers.
