Seattle Kraken's Jared McCann speaks on being a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs for a very short time and the fit Bobby McMann has had with his new team.

You know what?
I w- I wanna say, like, a Canadian team, but it's like our You know, can I say that the Toronto Maple Leafs are underrated?
No.
You really can't say that, can you?
Um- I can, and I will.
You're gonna say Toronto Maple Leafs?
Yeah, good for you.
You know what?
I'll actually say the Anaheim Ducks.
I, I know we've all just kind of been picking apart Pat Verbeek for, you know, painting himself into this corner where, you know, it looks like he's gonna have to overpay now for Cutter Gauthier and potentially lose some players.
But let's not forget that this Anaheim team was a juggernaut last year, and they're gonna have a lot of these young guys hopefully take another step forward.
So I, I think we're kinda sleeping on the fact that Anaheim might be the best team coming out of the Pacific next season.

I'll go, we'll give o- one in the East, one in the West.
In, in the East, I, it's Toronto because Toronto was horrendous last year, and everybody expects them to be horrendous again.
And I think they won't be.
Oh.
You know?
They, I don't, I think they're gonna make the playoffs based on the additions that they made, but a lot of people are, are getting the shovel ready to bury them.
And in the West, a team that I think everybody thinks is just gonna be terrible, but I, it, you look at the additions of Mason McTavish, and Connor McMichael, and, and Brandon Carlo, and they kept Jordan Binnington, is the St. Louis Blues.
I think they could contend.
Now, it's gonna be tough in that really tough Central division, but they've improved, they've added.
And, and they know they traded Jordan Kyrou, but I think they've added three players that can really help them, and I think they could contend for a playoff spot.
Right on.
I'm gonna say the Winnipeg Jets.
I don't think they're really a last place team in their DNA.
And obviously it depends on Connor Hellebuych.
But I think, you know, like, the Winnipeg Jets, they've got a lot of good elements.
So I, I think they're underrated
