Tony Pollard needs to look like the guy he was in the last six games of the season versus the first- Oh 11.
Just going back and I, I guess re- refreshing my memory on Tony Pollard's season last year, it was absolutely a night and day difference.
From the first 11 games, Tony Pollard, in those 11 games averaged 47 and a half yards per game, and then in the last six games of the season jumped up to 93 yards per game in the last six, which you saw the Titans actually look a lot better.
If this team wants to be good, especially with Brian Daboll now as the play caller, you're going to have to run the ball effectively because that's what makes Brian Daboll's offense really, really work.
We talked about this when he was coming in and why I felt very excited about him coming in to work with Cam Ward because of the, what he can do in the run game and how effective he's been with running backs who maybe aren't the Saquon Barkleys of the world, right?
You look back at what he did with, Devin Singletary in Buffalo when that ascension was happening with Josh Allen.
You look at what he's done with Tyrone Tracy, these guys who aren't the top 10 running backs in the league, and don't have that pedigree.
Tony Pollard quietly has, in terms of production, that, that pedigree, and so I think if he can get the same kind of output out of Tony Pollard as he did with all of those guys who I think are lesser running backs than Tony Pollard, that's going to show, that's going to make the Titans be good
