What if the biggest, most lucrative fight, let's just say, like, w- what if it is Devin Haney right now?
You still wanna wait for him to be the final boss at the end?
Yes, I do.
I do.
Why him?
I- Why him in particular?
Because, well, Ariel, I'll say it like this, man.
I beat Lomachenko for Winner Takes All, and ESPN literally, literally had the promo for that.
They, they literally advertised it as Winner Takes All, meaning what?
Meaning undisputed.
And apparently, by the rules of boxing's business, it was business, and they declared that, that Devin Haney was the WBC champion and not, the, not Vasyl Lomachenko.
So because of that, it disputed my undisputed.
So I think that the only way we can get that back is by showing everyone Teofimo is undisputed.
He actually beat Lomachenko better than Devin Haney, and when he beats Devin Haney for the undisputed, it will realize and awaken everybody else up that he was undisputed always.
I did get a text from, Sam Jones, the, the boxing manager.
He's like, "Jack Catterall has to be next.
Catterall versus Teofimo."
He was very loud on fight night as well.
Your thoughts on a fight against Jack Catterall?
So I was on Inside the Rings show.
Yep.
You know, that's pushed by Ring Magazine, The Zone, and all of those great things.
However, the contract that they signed, I never was involved in that contract, in that agreement, okay?
I am trying to delegate it with my law- my legal team.
"Hey, go to the legal team.
We'll talk.
I don't talk nobody.
We'll fight."
However, if I need to, express it a little bit more, that contract that they signed for the extension of whatever it was, 180 days, was with the name, like, of Rolando "Rolly" Romero, not Teofimo Lopez.
So that means the whole situation of mandatory and everything changes now.
It's a reset, and I think people are forgetting that.
They're a little bit over their head on that, you know?
And that's as best as I can express it at this particular time
