Was the follow-up question, where he was asked about the Eagles current wide receiver room, and he said Devonte Smith is a wide receiver one.
He could have been a wide receiver one his entire career.
If he was on another team, he would be wide receiver one, and he really vocalized the leadership of Devonte Smith.
And that is just another acknowledgment and another advocacy for Devonte Smith and what he is about to do in 2026.
We've heard these reports this off-season.
The Eagles view Devonte as maybe another JSN breakout.
Devonte Smith is criminally underrated.
It's not his fault.
He's just been in AJ's shadows, but he is so good, and the fact that a legend like T.O.
Can see that and can see how much talent he has just makes me feel even better about how Devonte is going to command respect and be a leader and ball out this season.
I know we're all afraid because we think about the loss of AJ's production, but I'm so serious when I say, as the days go on, I feel even better about Devonte Smith pulling in 1,500 receiving yards this season.
Like, I really feel like we're about to see a new beast unleashed, and I think people in the NFL world are seeing that as well
