I mean, Lindy Ruff may have to consider shifting things around in terms of his forward lines, because I think Tage Thompson is sort of dragging down Alex Tuck and that top line.
Thompson is clearly injured.
You saw from that, whatever it was, in that, that, whirling dervish speed wobble, whatever it was, on the, Alexander Carrier goal, in game two.
And then, both Thompson and Tuck were caught flat-footed when Logan Stanley gave up the puck on, I think it was Zach Bolduc's goal, goal.
I mean, the top line has been a liability.
Like Michael said, the best forward on the Sabres so far has been little Zach Benson, and Josh Doan has been pretty good, but he didn't have a good game three.
If that's your If that's what's going to happen, Buffalo's gonna lose.
They need the big dogs to hunt, and so far they're not hunting.
Well, last two games, Mike, you know, Alex Tuck, four shots in game three, six shots in game two, so he's getting the chances.
I, I would argue that, you know, it's just not, maybe not falling for him.
but you know, if he's, if he's averaging between four and six shots per game, you gotta think that eventually they're gonna go in.
Well, I'll t- I'll say this.
I think the guy who has missed the most opportunities is Jack Quinn.
Jack Quinn right now, couldn't put the puck in the, in Lake Ontario from Lake Shore Boulevard.
That's, I mean, and this is a guy who's got a great shot, and he had 20 goals this year and 51 points, and he is, i- in, at least in this series, has been abysmal.
And they, you know, with Thompson clearly compromised in terms of injuries, they need Jack Quinn to put the puck into the net.
