Titans Release Jordan Elliott After Reported Gun Incident at Practice
The Tennessee Titans released defensive tackle Jordan Elliott on Tuesday without explaining why, five days after a reported incident at practice on October 15. According to multiple reports, Elliott argued with tackle JC Latham after a play, was told to leave the field and went to the players' parking garage to get his gun before defensive tackle John Franklin-Myers helped de-escalate. It remains unclear whether he actually retrieved the gun, and Nashville police said no reports had been filed. Elliott, 28, signed a two-year, $8 million deal in the offseason and played the first five games of the 2026 season.
