Tkachuk Brothers Make NHL History With Natural Hat Trick in Columbus

Brady Tkachuk scored three goals in 8 minutes and 3 seconds of the second period Tuesday in Columbus, and his brother Matthew assisted on every one. It was the NHL's first natural hat trick with a sibling assisting on each goal. Brady's first goal of the season tied the Blue Jackets 1-1 and ended his six-game goalless start in Florida. He followed it with two power-play goals: a tap-in past Cam Talbot and a rebound off the end boards. He became the eighth Panther to record a natural hat trick, in the franchise's third-fastest three-goal burst, and Matthew set a Panthers record with four assists in the period.
