Tom Brady: Caleb Williams Fits Ben Johnson's Bears Offense After 34-17 Win
Tom Brady says Caleb Williams is built for Ben Johnson's offense. He praised more than the Bears quarterback's arm talent, pointing to how Williams thrives in a scheme that moves the pocket, keeps defenders guessing and turns leaving the pocket into a planned opportunity. In Chicago's 34-17 Monday night win over Seattle, which entered the game allowing the fewest passing yards per game in the NFL, Williams went 24 of 34 for 247 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions, taking what the defense gave him. The Bears opened with a 17-play, 80-yard touchdown drive built on tempo, hand signals and a fake handoff, capped when Williams rolled right and found Luther Burden III.
