Breaking news out of Frisco here in, Dallas Cowboys country.

By the way, I'm Mike Fisher, your trustee and trust reporter.

It's Rashawn Gary, the, premium talent, former first round pick.

The Cowboys trade for him from the Packers.

They give up a future four, twenty twenty-seven fourth round pick for a guy who's a twenty million dollar a year player, but a guy that fits with this defense.

he played for Christian Parker.

Parker was on that staff, the Cowboys new defensive coordinator.

He was on that Packers staff.

He knows this player well.

They're not done here.

In fact, they might do something with this money, massage it a little bit.

And then again, I was told two difference makers.

This is absolutely a tier one move.

It doesn't preclude them from doing anything else big, although the twenty million dollar a year price tag on this guy might suggest that they're not gonna start adding up more and more and more twenty million dollar a year guys.

But this is an outstanding start right before your second cup of coffee.

The Cowboys have just traded with the Packers.

They get Rashawn Gary, and they get a chance to rejuvenate him, line him up in a defense that he knows, and let the former first rounder go rush the passer.

In Frisco with the Cowboys, Fish out.
