Yo.

What?

Appreciate it, appreciate it.

Thank you.

Tray- Von.

Hey, we got, I gotta, I mean, we were talking about it on the show, just the comeback.

I mean, really, the span of your career, medalist in, bronze medalist in 2015 to where you are today, and the injuries and the comebacks, multiple comebacks.

What is it like to be on top of that field today?

Oh, it's always a good feeling when you racing against great high-level competitors, to come out here, put up a great race, and come out on top.

I just got a lot of motivation this year, and g- I think it's setting up perfectly for the rest of the season, and also going into the next two years.

I, Trayvon, like two things.

Number one, when can we expect your book about- perseverance and- overcoming and all, and greatness?

When is that gonna come out?

You know what's crazy?

I was just talking to my coach about me wanting to write a book about that actual topics for sure, so- Heck yeah stay tuned for that.

Hey, heck yeah.

congrats on- Yeah like, it, it really is from everybody in the sport that knows the sport.

You're every, like, you're everybody's favorite sprinter's favorite sprinter, honestly.

And then, uh- Appreciate it second, when you got that lane draw, t- can you walk me through that process of get that lane draw, "Okay, all right, lane A.

What, how am I gonna handle this?"

So as you know, obviously, a lot of the races that I had in the season, I didn't break 10.

So going into this race where majority of the field was in the nine second realm, it's kinda hard to fight at a technical meter for a good lane.

But at the end of the day, man, 100 meters is 100 meters.

It doesn't matter.

Like, it's not like we running the 200 or anything like that.

So- Yeah i- it's just a straight lane.

You just gotta focus on your lane and just dig deep and fight.

Hey, this man, he, he found his wisdom.

Yes, sir.

Got married.

Now he has this dad strength.

I'm seeing it physically in your, in your fitness, my boy.

You look ama- Like, I, you look- Yeah so healthy, just so ready.

Like- e- e- the way you look- Appreciate it d- is that how you feel?

Yeah, it's excuse me, so much motivation with, you know, me and my wife's pregnancy, and then let alone knowing that I got a son coming into this world.

I wanna show him, you know, no matter the trials, no matter the tribulation, man, you gotta get up and fight.

Facts.

No matter what.

Like, you gotta have that military mentality, and always keeping God first.

Like, I ain't never wavered away from that.

You know what I'm saying?

So for me, it's all about staying focused on that, repr- being a representative of that, and staying in my mindset of being, you know, d- dealing with perseverance.

So I j- I, I wanna teach my son that, so I wanna make sure when he look back at these type of things, he can see that and hear it as well.

Trayvon, we got Jake i Jordan here, one of the, the best US high school sprinter.

Jake, you got anything for Trayvon?

Yes, sir.

Trayvon, man, tell me how you feel executing that race.

I saw at Lone Star you said you didn't, you weren't happy with your execution.
