One thing that both the Canucks and the Maple Leafs have in common right now is that both could use a hefty dose of good PR, I think, for, for different reasons.

So, Mike, do you think that's kind of what this sort of move is?

just being more, ceremonial than anything else or, or do you see it being more, more involved?

I, I hope it's more involved because y- you look at the job that Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin basically did and then left the Canucks, and they could use all the help they could get.

And, you know, the Sedins are, are very smart individuals.

They've obviously been around hockey forever, but if you got to know them during their playing career, these guys are very cerebral, players.

They're p- players who obviously kept themselves in great shape.

I, I believe they were, like, running marathons, you know, during their playing career or just after.

Like, you know, from a character standpoint, from an athletic standpoint, and just from an, a, like, a hockey IQ standpoint, you, you can't find two better people in the NHL than Daniel and Henrik Sedin.

So I would hope that they have some sort of say over the direction of this, the Vancouver Canucks.

Obviously, they're gonna have to be You know, th- they're going into a draft that is highly important.

Like, the number three overall pick in this year's draft might as well be the number one overall pick when you're- Yeah talking about who could land at their feet, whether it's a Ivar Stenberg or a Caleb Malhotra or whoever.

But the, the other thing they've got to really kind of, you know, I hope that they have a role in, is either getting Elias Pettersson back to the player that we saw, you know, and that was putting up 100 points not that long ago.

Or if you're gonna move in another direction, you know, what direction are you moving in?

And I would love to pick the brain of the Sedins and say, "Yeah, if you're You know, what is this Canucks team?

I know it's at the beginning of a rebuild, but who do you wanna keep?

Who should leave?

And, you know, how do you get to ba- get to being back to where you were a few years ago, where you're the top dogs in the Pacific?"
