Two-way expectations for Hunter should be lower
Kyle Dvorchak talks about reports that Travis Hunter may be a part time wide receiver and full time cornerback for the upcoming season and whether fantasy managers should take a chance on him.

According to Jags GM James Gladstone, Travis Hunter will be a limited participant in the offseason workouts.
We're talking about the early offseason workouts, your OTAs, your mini camps, stuff that's not necessarily vital to a player's offseason, but it is good that he's going to be out there for it, even if it's in a limited capacity.
How much he plays at wide receiver and how much he plays at cornerback, however, is a much bigger question than his health, which all signs point to the health being pretty good.
Liam Cohen also previously said he's ahead of schedule recovering from that season-ending knee surgery that he had to undergo middle of last season.
Moving back to the more frustrating part for fantasy, we recently had NFL Network's Ian Rapoport talking about and following up on some previous reports saying that it looks like we're getting a full-time cornerback, Travis Hunter, and part-time wide receiver.
They didn't really seem like they knew what to do with him last year.
His production up until that final game, which he popped off for over 100 yards, was pretty underwhelming.
The efficiency metrics also underwhelming.
And it's a weird spot to be in as a team.
It's the first time we've ever seen this type of dynamic two-way player.
It's also probably a tough transition to make to the NFL doing both at such a high level, or at least trying to.
And the wide receiver production just wasn't there.
I think I understand why they want to try him out as a full-time corner.
Maybe when last year they wanted to try things the other way.
So for fantasy purposes, I think we probably have to keep our expectations in check.
I think he's a very fun flyer.
He was a great prospect even at wide receiver alone, let alone the fact that he can do so much.
And I think there's an incentive for them having spent so much on him to eventually figure out how to play him both ways at a pretty high level.
But for right now, all signs point to him being a part-time wide receiver and someone that's just a bench stash in fantasy, at least for the start of the 2026 season.
