Ryan, hopefully there's much more to go with this rebuild, but give me a rating, one through five, five being the best, the Vancouver Canucks' start of their rebuild.
I'll give them a three right now because I really liked their draft.
You know, Caleb Alhambra, maybe that was a bit of a reach and a fit kind of thing 'cause he is a center.
But I don't mind it 'cause I, I think he could be a number one.
But, you know, Brooks Dragowski, Nicolas Ahrn Olssen, like, they made some nice picks there, and they do have a goalie of the future already drafted in Alexei Medvedev.
And they have a number one defenseman of the future in Ziv Buitium, who is already playing very strongly for them.
So they're getting there.
They certainly need more, but so far so good.
I'll go a little lower, Ryan, and just for the simple fact that they have a lot of players that aren't gonna really help them get into the playoffs, and could actually hurt them to try to get to the floor again this season.
So, you know, we'll see.
Can they find a, a spot to toss Elias Pettersson to?
And can they get some value there?
Because I think that is the big question is like, you know, why do you have Pettersson on your line, on, on your roster?
You know, again, he's not gonna help you.
If anything, he could hurt you.
I get that maybe there's not a whole lot of takers for this guy right now, but that's the missing, piece where I think, you know, tear off that Band-Aid, so to speak, and, you know, let's really start the rebuild.
