Warriors Rookie Yaxel Lendeborg Rips Luka Doncic After Lakers Win 127-105
Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg guarded Luka Doncic in his NBA debut Wednesday. Afterward he said he lost all respect for the Lakers star over his complaints about foul calls, adding "I told him he sucks" and "He can't score on me." Doncic shot 7 of 18, but he still scored a game-high 28 points. After Lendeborg picked up a technical late in the second quarter, Doncic hit a half-court buzzer-beater and pointed at him, and the Lakers won 127-105. Steve Kerr called the foul trouble a learning experience for Lendeborg, who had four fouls, and Draymond Green backed the rookie for challenging the star.
