Warsofsky on Another Blown Lead as Sharks Fall in Boston to End Road Trip

Sharks head coach Warsofsky looks back on another blown lead, this time in a loss to the Bruins that ended San Jose's road trip at 3-2-1. He points to the late power play sequence that ended with David Pastrnak scoring right out of the box, plus a goal off a faceoff that made it 4-3. His verdict: the Sharks were outcompeted around their own net. He liked the first two periods and the identity his team showed, praised steps forward from Michael Misa and Sam Dickinson, and says the Sharks need better net-front defense and more five-on-five scoring 12 games into the season.
