We're recording at 10:00 PM, about an hour and some change after the Warriors make their first move first two moves, before the trade deadline tomorrow at 12 noon.

Jonathan Kuminga is now in Atlanta, alongside Buddy Hield, as they were traded for Kristaps Porziis.
A two for one, no picks involved.
Trayce Jackson-Davis traded to Toronto for a 2026 second-round pick.
That is from the Lakers.
So I'm gonna start with you, man.
What's your thoughts on this deal?
Well, the Trayce deal, y- you kind of get it, because he was rarely in the rotation, wasn't playing much and, you know, I think there was a use for him at times, but he just never was a stable- a staple member of the rotation.
And so But I think the Kuminga thing, obviously, it's been a long national night- a long, well, regional nightmare.
we have known since last season that this was gonna come, this was gonna happen, there was gonna be a divorce at some point.
Didn't know when, didn't know how, you know, figured, "Okay, when he gets to restricted free agency last summer, maybe then."
Didn't happen.
Said, "Okay, they re-sign him, two-year contract with the team option for the year two- for year two.
Okay, well, now you can't trade him until January 15th."
Figure, okay, January 15th, from that point to the trade deadline on February 5th, that window is open to move JK.
And I kept hearing that the market for him was not that hot.
Mm-hmm.
And for them to make the move with the Hawks and get Kristaps Porziis, in theory, it makes sense, because JK wasn't playing.
And Buddy, you know, he runs hot and cold, but lately he's been playing pretty well.
But it makes sense because Porziis is, is a legitimate seven foot two, and he's willing to go into the paint, not as much as he once did, because he's had so many injuries.
And that's the problem with this trade.
If, if they plan to keep KP, dude, I mean, he has missed more games the past three years than Anthony Davis.
And we always talk about Anthony Davis, how many games he's gonna miss.
I- if, if they plan to keep him on the roster, and I'm told that they're l- they're seriously considering keeping him, if they keep him on the roster, they have to hope he's healthy and hope that Dr. Rick Celebrini can work some miracles.
Because when they He's missed 100 games the last three years.
J- AD has missed, like, 69 or 67 or something like that.
And so, Monty, you know how many games Porziis has missed?
Last season, he played in 42 of 82 for the Celtics.
Yeah, he missed 40.
42 of eighty- 82.
Yeah.
This year, he's only appeared in 17 games.
He missed 35 this year- ... Seventeen games - and 25 the year before.
He hasn't played since January 7th.
Yeah.
And that's with an Achilles injury.
All right?
And, and then we think about earlier in the season, he played five games, and then he came up with a tricky illness that they had no idea about.
He had bumps and bruises, for crying out loud.
So I'll say this, Monty, when it comes to the Porziis, Buddy Hield or excuse me, Porziis for Buddy Hield and Kuminga, if these are the only moves the Warriors make, this is a terrible deal.
If they contin- like, but the key is, are they done?
So I wanna reserve judgment.
Are they done?
Yeah, you have to.
Because everybody's saying that they're out of the Giannis sweepstakes.
I was thinking maybe they attach Ku- you know, Porziis to another contract, try to put that That seems like that ship has sailed.
But if you believe that you're going into a stretch drive, counting on a guy who missed 40 games last season, and's played in only 17 this season, and you have Al Horford at quick posts, which seems a bit redundant, although Porziis could block shots, I don't like the deal whatsoever.
And it's an expiring contract.
So are you serious about winning?
That's what I'm getting in front of it.
Are you serious about winning?
I like the expiring deal, sure, love that.
But are you serious about winning by doing this move?
Honest to God, I would've, I would've loved to just see JK try to ride out the last 25 games.
But I get why you had to move him, 'cause he didn't want to be here.
And they didn't want him here.
Huh?
And they didn't want him here.
No.
Yeah, nobody They- both, they, they, they, they were waiting for this divorce since last summer, so- This is what you get.
After all that posturing, after all the talks, you get an expiring contract with a big who is often injured- Yeah, I don't like it.
Don't like it, Monty.
Let me, let me ask you this, okay?
What if they had done this for Anthony Davis?
He's a better player.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Better player.
He's missed fewer games the last three years.
Better player.
Now, I don't know what the Wizards are doing.
I mean, have fun with that.
Well, and AD and, and Trae Young, you know, and they got a young, bunch of young guys back there that some of those guys might be decent, and so we'll see.
But again, the Wizards and the Jazz made some moves that tell you maybe they're trying to figure something out now.
Maybe they're not just- Yeah ... gonna go with, "Okay, draft picks every year, more draft picks, more draft picks," perpetually rebuilding.
And maybe now they're making a move to actually become a factor.
'Cause Utah can be a factor next year if they keep They got Jaren Jackson Jr. Yeah.
Walker Kessler comes back, they keep marking him.
They got three guys that are six-ten, seven feet, and seven-two.
do you wanna play them if you're the Warriors?
It's like, man!
But, but again, it's such a risk because if, if Porziis was a guy playing, you know, in 90% of the games, I'd understand a little bit better.
Right.
He is not.
He has not been for a long time, and it's not like he's just become injured the last couple of years.
It's like throughout most The first couple of years he was fine.
Then he got hurt, and he hasn't been the same player in terms of durability since.
And so there's always something, just like there is with AD.
Typically, though, KP's, se- situations are a little bit more serious.
They keep him out longer.
KD, AD misses, you know, two or three weeks here, two or three weeks there.
KP misses a month, five weeks here, six weeks there.
Well, what is- So- Monty- That's the part- When is KP- -that makes me go, "Well, if he's healthy," you could say, "Hey, we added some size," which they sorely need.
But if he's not healthy, then what have you added?
Yeah.
When is he back, Porziis?
We don't know.
We don't know.
We don't know.
you know, it could, it That is crazy.
When the guys got hurt, when the guy's that hurt I mean, I haven't seen a prognosis.
Yeah.
So, you know, all I know is that as long as he's Even if he's back, if he's back, let's say he's back Thursday.
I mean, yeah, Thursday in Phoenix, let's say he's back.
The question then becomes: How long is he back?
You know- So- Is he gonna be there for another week or two, or before he gets hurt again?
Yeah.
I mean, this is really risky stuff.
Well, well, yeah, so he's 30 years old- Yes ... and he just missed 12 games due to a left achil- left Achilles tendinitis.
He was supposed to come back, and he comes out with the illness.
Soon, yeah.
With a very strange illness.
Yes.
We don't know, like, we don't even know what it is.
And so- ... yeah, this is a, you know And look, the fit next to Draymond Green, I get it.
There's spacing there.
Porziis could space the floor.
He could hit the three.
Right.
But it does feel redundant without Horford and Quentin Post.
Well, I mean, I get it.
and, it's not that redundant because, you know, QP is a specialist.
With Al Horford- How are you it's redundant?
Yeah, yeah.
QP is a specialist.
If he's not making threes, he ain't giving you much.
No.
Okay, Al Horford is gonna be limited in minutes, won't play back-to-backs.
they want him in the mid-20s, so they, they need- they have 20-plus more minutes to give out to somebody, and Quentin and Al can sometimes play together because of how they play.
So, but it won't matter.
This is all irrelevant.
It's not even redundant if KP is not active to play.
If he's a seven-foot-two guy sitting on the bench in street clothes, eh, how do you, how do you help the team?
How is this trade worthwhile?
What How does it help you?
I don't get it.
Let me read his, his games played log.
Games played in the regular season.
Warriors have 31 games left.
Since his rookie year when he played 72 regular season games, 65, 48, missed an entire season.
Yeah.
57, 43, 34.
S- well, actually, he played 51 that year, 65, 57, 42, and just 17.
And he's played in the mid-20s, basically.
Last This season, he's playing 24 minutes a game.
Last year, 29.
The year before, 29.
So he's in the high 20s for his career.
He may not be able to play on back-to-backs.
Right.
Right.
Achilles tendinitis is no joke.
You know, I look at him and Yeah, I mean, like, KP was questionable as of now with the illness.
Doesn't say what it is, you know, but- Yeah ... but, so presumably, he'll re- he's scheduled to return soon.
But again, when he returns, how long will he be available to play, and how much time will he need?
How much ramp-up time will he need to be able to play?
And so, I mean, I get that they, they wanted to move JK, and they got something for him, but this was the best they could do?
A guy who has missed 100 games the last three years.
Excuse me.
And I don't mean, you know, I don't mean he missed 80 in one year and 10 in another, and n- No, it's been 25 this year, 40 last year, 35 the year before that....
I mean, sorry, 35 this year, 40 last year- Yeah ... 25 the year before that.
That's a ton of games with a con- on a consistent basis.
And so- Preaching to the choir.
I, I, I was told, by a couple of people tonight, Tuesday night, or Wednesday night rather, that, you know, the Warriors are still poking around.
And I think if you're a Warriors fan, you have to hope they are.
Yeah.
Because they just traded for a guy who might not play very many games.
Um- And did they just do this for, to get the expiring contract?
Is that what this is about?
And thinking that, "Okay, that will give you another chance to run at Giannis in the off-season," because the growing belief is that Giannis will be with Milwaukee beyond the trade deadline now.
You know, and so- Yeah ... so, and I, I came into this week thinking, "Okay, if the Warriors can't get him by the trade deadline, they're probably gonna be out of it."
This gets them closer to that- Oh ... theoretically, theoretically.
But, again, for right now- You know what?
It doesn't give you- You know what?
Maybe it's not the only move.
You know what?
Depends where they're at with the tax.
we'll, we'll get to that in just a second.
A lot of questions in my head right now, Monty.
'Cause it still could work out.
It could work out if they add other pieces.
Like, Michael Porter Jr, I know Brooklyn wants to move off of him.
Not sure where the Warriors slot there.
They don't wanna get hard-capped.
You get some picks.
Y- before this deal, they were $81 million in the luxury tax.
Yeah.
So we'll get to the cap stuff in a second, you know what I'm saying?
Porzi- Porzingis can help.
Yep.
But I just had a league source text me, literally as we're doing this podcast, "It's a weird trade."
Yeah.
Weird trade.
And I'm guessing that not only that league source, but a number of people around the NBA landscape believes it's a weird trade.
Let me ask you this: How hard do you believe that it was for Joe Lacob to make this move happen?
'Cause remember the Wiseman deal, he was not pleased with that.
He did not wanna go that route.
No.
He did.
Yeah.
They ended up doing that route, but he was not pleased.
We know how he felt about Kuminga.
How hard do you believe it was for Joe Lacob and Dudley to pull the trigger on this deal?
Well, I'm sure it was not easy, but I think he had become resigned to the fact that it had to happen.
But I also think that he thinks this could lead to something better down the line.
And I, I, I don't think that Joe Lacob's thinking, "Okay, we got Porzingis.
We're cooking with grease now."
I don't believe that.
I don't believe anybody in that building is saying that.
But, but again, you have a guy now who's got a, a big expiring contract, who may or may not be able to give you something right now.
But if you scour the NBA, if he, if he can play 20 healthy games, you can use his contract, and he comes off the books at the end of the season.
Can they flip him for Michael Porter Jr if they wanted?
If they better flip him in the next few hours.
Yeah, I mean, Brooklyn wants to make a move.
Yeah.
Here's the great thing Here's the positive about the deal.
You still have all your draft picks.
Yeah.
All those unprotected picks- Right ... you still hold.
That's, that's exactly it.
You still have some ammo here, Monty- Yeah ... to make another move.
But that's only if we get clarity about Porzingis.
But they're not moving those draft picks unless they get a big, a big deal.
Right.
You know, you know, if you move Porzingis and a draft pick, what do you get?
Porzingis and two draft picks, what do you get?
Yeah.
It depends on if any how teams value his expiring contract.
And for the Warriors, I mean, I think that's probably the main reason why they made the move.
Because if they- if he's on their roster at the end of the season, he comes off the books.
He's not on their roster, that means they flipped him for something else, and they have a number of hours to do that.
I, I don't, I don't imagine that they would, you know Yeah, I, I, I don't see them buying him out.
You know?
yeah.
I- it's gonna be interesting to see what they do here.
'Cause again, I'll restate what I said at the top of this podcast, nothing else comes on the table, they do nothing else before the deadline, I think it's a disappointing deadline for the Warriors after what we just saw Tuesday night at Chase Center against the Philadelphia 76ers.
No Embiid, Maxine played a D plus game, and the Sixers won by 20.
By 20!
Yeah.
And that's the same unit we're basically gonna see tomorrow night against Phoenix.
Yeah.
A team that's rolling right now, 11 games over 500.
Draymond Green, you sat in that presser Tuesday night.
Are you stunned?
Well, I shouldn't say stunned is the word.
I think it's a hard pill to swallow trying to trade him.
But what about Draymond here, before the deadline and then after the deadline?
How do you feel about his mental state?
He said it's just a business.
He understood that, thought he said all the right things.
Yeah, and I, and I believe he's sincere about that because, you know, I was in the locker room with him last week when he was asked about this, you know, about just the, the mood around the team.
And, and he said, basically at the time, he said, you know, he said he's not losing sleep over it, but, you know, we don't know that.
But I believe him when he says that he already feels like he's kind of beaten the system.
You know, second-round draft pick- became a starter in year two, became an All-Star, became a DPOY.
It's made them their quarter million dollars in the NBA.
Four championships.
I think Draymond feels like he's already kind of won.
He's won.
And to be- I think he was absolutely, honest when he said, to be in the same place 13 plus years, with the success that this team has had, to play alongside Steph, I think he feels like he's already been charmed.
You know, he's already been charmed.
So I, I do believe that if, if he's traded, that he accept it and move on.
he knows what he meant to the Warriors.
You know?
He knows good and bad, he knows the whole picture- Good and bad ... what he meant to this team.
Yep.
And, and so, I mean, if he gets to the Hall of Fame, it'll be because of what he did with the Warriors, not what he does if he gets traded someplace else.
Because I think we know that Draymond's prime is behind him.
Can he still offer something?
Yeah.
You know, if the Lakers are interested, and I believe they would be and should be if he's on the market, I get why he would go there.
Him and LeBron are boys, and the Lakers' defense needs some help.
Well, Monty, that's the weird thing, him and LeBron being boys.
That's the, that's- Hey, Rich Paul he Draymond's agent, man.
It's still It's, it's a weird thing, Monty, to say the least.
Um- Oh, you can go back to 2016, huh?
Yeah, 2016, 2017.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, come on.
you know, thinking about Draymond, and ESPN is reporting that they like the fit with Porziis and Draymond in the front court.
I like the fit, too.
If he were- But I, I don't like the fit with this version of Draymond Green.
The version we saw this season, we've seen this season, defensively this could work out great.
Offensively, Draymond's gotta be a lot better.
I think Draymond's gotten better offensively in the last month or so.
Now, Jimmy going down, that changed it a little bit.
He needed him to be another notch better, but I thought early in the season he was pretty awful.
I mean, he was throwing passes that nobody in the NBA should be throwing.
Not good.
You know, and he was po- I'll put it this way, Draymond is one of the smartest players I've ever been around.
He was throwing dumb passes.
And I don't mean one here and there, I mean, he was throwing sometimes two or three in a game.
It's like, "Whoa, whoa, whoa!
What is he doing?"
So he's kind of reeled that in for the most part, and that makes him better to me.
He's a more valuable player when he takes care of the ball.
When he's giving the other team easy points, transition buckets because of his turnovers, he's a liability.
But he's become much better at, at taking care of the ball.
He's making shots at a decent rate most of the time.
So I just think, yeah, the problem- Draymond's thing is that he can't give you on a nightly basis what he once did.
He can be good here and there.
He can be outstanding sometimes.
But, you know, Draymond's prime, you know, he's coming for you almost every night and giving you something.
There would be no such thing as a death lineup without him.
You know, but the death lineup has been gone for what, seven years now?
It's been gone for a long time, Monty.
So- And look, the first four games without Jimmy, he was five for twenty-five and oh for fourteen for three.
Yeah.
Until he went off against Detroit in the first quarter with fifteen points, he had a oh for sixteen stretch.
Yeah.
So his offense is, yeah, it's, it's been a struggle.
The other night against Philly, two for seven, turnovers, shot-making, but it's- If you got Porziis, you don't need Draymond shooting threes as much.
But he's wide open, Monty.
He's gotta take, like He's wide open.
Well, you gotta Yeah, he's gotta shoot the wide open shots, for sure.
He's got to.
He knows that.
Steve Kerr knows that.
And if he, if he shoots- But he doesn't do it all the time ... you know, generally he's gonna make his share.
You look at the list of Warriors who shoot three-point shots, you know, he's not at the bottom.
No, he's not at the bottom- Yeah ... and he shouldn't be at the bottom.
Yeah.
Those are great shots, and it's not like when I see Draymond's form, it's not like he's got a form like Shaune Marion or who's our boy, Kevin Martin in Sacramento?
Had the little corkscrew jumper.
Yeah.
Like yeah, he's got a good form.
If I'm Draymond- He's got a unique form.
I'm, if I'm- He kind of dips before he shoots.
Right.
If I'm Draymond Green, I'm taking ten threes a game.
If I make four, that's forty percent, you're scoring twelve a game.
He's wide open.
Wide open.
And sometimes when he is wide open, he's forcing passes into traffic, getting- Less, less than he did before, though.
Less than he did earlier this season.
He did a great- It's been a little better ... earlier this season, because- Been a little better ... two pass.
Been a little better.
The Utah game was not pretty last week.
Yeah.
It was not pretty last week.
All right, so we got the Draymond factor here, and so it looks like as of now, he's gonna be here.
He's gonna stay.
Now, weirder things could happen, who knows?
Yep.
They said Jimmy Butler is basically gonna be here.
Would shock me if they still tried to move off of him.
That would shock me a little bit, if they move off JB, Jimmy Butler.
If, if this is the only move, what is this message to Dub Nation?
What How, 'cause I'm, I'm looking at my Instagram, I'm looking at Twitter.
I'd say at least seventy percent of Dub Nation is ticked off.
Well, if they, if this is it, if this is it, they're saying we're gonna reset for next year.
That's what they're saying.
And they're ticked off.
If that is the case, and if that is the case, these last two-plus months of the season are gonna be a hard watch.
I mean, that sellout streak at- Oh ... at, at Chase Center is in jeopardy.
You know, they've been sellout games ever since they opened that place, but it's gonna become That, that streak could go away if this is what you're gonna have over the last two-plus months of the season.
Think about it from this angle, though, Monty.
We've talked a lot about Kuminga- he's a part of this deal.
Yeah.
And people were still ticked off, 'cause they felt like they couldn't get enough for him.
And I think the opposition, 31 other teams, said, "We know the Warriors wanna move him.
Let's not budge.
Let's not budge."
And who's the GM for the Atlanta Hawks?
Ronsey.
Yeah.
He was with the Golden State Warriors the last two years.
He was their cap guy, yeah.
He knows a little about Kuminga.
It's a low-risk, high-reward move for JK and the Atlanta Hawks.
It's a good, young roster.
Yeah.
Jalen Johnson, you got some good wings.
Nikola Alexander-Walker, you have Okongwu.
You got some good players.
Yeah.
It's a great landing spot for JK.
No, I, I, I hope he does well there.
I hope he does well wherever he goes, but we've long known that it wasn't gonna He wasn't gonna do well with the Warriors.
We've long known that, and the last person to know it, I think, might have been Joe Lacob, to understand that, to accept that.
You know, Kuminga, what he does, the way he plays, is almost diametrically opposed to the way the Warriors play, to the way the Warriors have won championships, the way the Warriors have been successful.
And I think you put him in a different system, see what he can do.
JK, I've always said, he's a solo artist, man.
Give him the ball, let him see if he can cook.
You might be rewarded.
But with the Warriors, that's not how they play.
They let Jimmy play iso ball because Jimmy sees the floor in ways that very few guys do.
He sets up guys.
He can also make a shot and get to the paint, which JK can do.
JK can crack the paint, get to the bucket, get free throws.
He can do that part.
So, you know, I just I, I think that, as I th- I do believe that if JK was on the roster past the trade deadline, that he would be playing.
Because, again, one of the reasons why he wasn't playing was Jimmy Butler's presence.
With Butler out, that opens up more minutes at the, at the wing spot, and that's where JK could get minutes and would have if he wouldn't have traded.
So listen, I, I Okay, I'm refreshed we don't have to talk about JK as much anymore.
No, you're not.
Yes, I am, 'cause you the biggest- No, you're not.
You're big.
You're gonna miss- He knows Jalen Johnson.
You're gonna miss You're gonna miss this combo.
No, no.
Listen- ... Jalen Johnson's the lead singer in Atlanta.
Not a G, nearly a triple double, but he's not- All JK wants to do is be a Pip.
He just wants to hang out with Diana Ross.
He wants to be a Pip.
He just wants to be He just wants to be included.
He doesn't want to So he knows that's Jalen Johnson's team.
He'll be all right.
Um- Jalen Johnson doesn't have Steph's resume.
He doesn't, but damn, he's a good player.
We saw him at Chaser.
Oh, yeah.
We saw him at Chaser earlier.
No, he's terrific.
He could be an all-timer.
Yeah, he's already an All-Star.
Yeah.
He can be an all-timer.
Also- Three sexy babies going to Toronto.
Also, a, a guy drafted in the second part of the first round.
Oh, yeah.
Just like- And remember, J- JK gave him 11 for 11.
You can get good guys late in this first round, is what I'm saying.
You can, you can.
All right, so to tie my thing, basically over.
that's done, and I guess we'll just have to wait, because if they don't make any other moves, again, this is a terrible move.
A terrible move.
So- It's not a, the kind of move that gives the Warriors a bump this season.
The belief is that it could give them a bump going into next season, but that means that they're basically saying, "You know what?
This season, you know, we, we lost Jimmy.
We don't know what Steph's situation's gonna be with his knee.
You know, maybe this season just ain't it, so let's just sort of reset next in the summer."
That may be what's happening.
If they don't make another move, that is what's happening.
There's a Steph question- Do you need to repeat the- ... but I don't think tonight's the appropriate time to ask it.
I think we let the deadline kind of pass, see what happens, hear from Steph tomorrow.
'Cause last Friday, before the game against Detroit, some agents, some scouts, s- starting to hear rumblings.
The Warriors should just start to reset right now.
They should start to reset right now, and that's a tough thing to do.
But when I kind of zoom out, Monty, and think about everything with the Dubs, this has basically been a 13, 14-year run of some really high-level basketball, some really high ups, some downs.
They've been relevant.
They've been talking championship for 14 consecutive years.
No, he- no, they haven't.
I mean Well- Yeah.

And they've had 14 years of this really relevant basketball, and I don't think we're gonna see it run like this in NBA history again with this new CBA.
It's gonna be very hard to replicate what the Warriors have done since 2012, 2013.
Well, I think it depends on a couple of things.
First of all, it depends on how you, how you play the draft.
I mean, Oklahoma City is playing the draft as well as I've ever seen any team play it.
They made a deal to get, A, one, an alpha dog leader in Shai, and two- they stockpiled draft picks.
They bottomed out, they stockpiled draft picks, and they are set for draft picks for years to come.
They're young now, and they're, they're, but they're so deep with draft picks to come that they can start weeding out some of their guys that they draft.
Lou Dort, I don't know if he's coming back next year.
You know, he's a big part of their team, but he might it might be his time to, to move, just like it was Josh Giddey's time to get out, you know?
And so they can't keep all the guys they bring in, but they can decide which ones they wanna keep, and they've decided that their, their three guys are Shay, Chet, and J Will.
So anybody outside those three guys is sus- is subject to being moved.
Mm-hmm.
And if you're Sam Presti, and you play the draft like he does, you don't mind moving guys out as long as you keep your core intact, because you have faith that you will bring in guys that can play.
And so far, so far, his strategy looks pretty dang good.
Just gotta keep guys healthy.

Hey, real quick before we end this, because Warriors have three point five billion in second APR cap space.
sixty-one million right now is a luxury tax penalty with Kristaps Porziis, but Porziis is extension eligible through June 30th for up to three thirty years, or excuse me, up to three years.
They could also acquire Giotis.
They can only acquire Giotis in exchange for Jimmy Butler under APR rules.
So one, do you see them extending Porziis?
Is there any shot that happens, or is it simply a four-month rental?
No, I mean, I would n- I, I would be a little surprised if they do, but I think it depends on how these next few months go.
You know, we're, I think, you know, we're so close to the, to the All-Star break to where basically you're gonna have Porziis on your roster for two months.
What does he give you?
What does he show you?
is he on the court more than he is off the court?
I mean, these are all factors that can play into his future.
But again, you know, I know I've been told that the Warriors kind of like him, but that doesn't mean they can't move him if something else comes along that they think might be able to make them better, because this does not make them a lot better.
This does not make them a lot better.
It's a disappointing trade, to say the least, right now.
Yeah.
It was really disappointing, and we'll have a later time to think about Kuminga and assess his five-year run with the Golden State Warriors.
A lot of ups and downs.
It was a tumultuous ride.
Some flashes- Yeah ... some talent- Yep ... some good play, some inconsistent play, and yet it just didn't work.
It just didn't work, and that's disappointing.
And when you think about this roster, what we saw against Philadelphia, he's easily, in my opinion, more talented than what we saw on the floor yesterday for the Golden State Warriors.
He's one of their better players if he suits up.
Now, unfortunately- Yeah, I won't, I won't argue that.
And so the fact that it went down like this is very unfortunate, and ownership's gonna get a lot of heat.
Don Levy's gonna get some heat.
Steve Kerr will get a little bit of heat, but as of now, I'm with you.
I do not like this deal.
I do not like this deal for the Warriors if it's the only thing they do.
Yeah.
No, this is, this, if, if KP is able to get to play more than he doesn't play, then, you know, he can be value, of some value to them.
Otherwise, it's a risk.
But, you know, Kuminga was a risk.
Anytime you draft an eighteen-year-old, it's a risk.
Yep.
You know, very few guys are a Cooper Flagg, who come into the league and go, "He's a can't miss," you know?
Yep.
and so he drafted JK I think the worst part of this whole thing is that the Warriors had three lottery picks, and the best they got out of, out of it is a rotation player in Moses Moody.
It's sad, sad, sad.
Sad.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
Sometimes you hit, sometimes you miss.
