A wave of Senators alumni secured fresh contracts this week as teams across the league bolstered their rosters. In part two, we look at the players who signed two-way deals, hoping to work their way back into NHL consideration with new teams.

You know, he's got more racetrack left than Claude Giroux, and you know what you're getting with Nick Cousins.
But unfortunately, with Claude Giroux, he is now entering the sunset years, and you never know from one season to the next how big the drop-off is going to be.
But it will be swift here in the next, you know, two to three years.
He might hang in there for a while, but it is a bit of a roll of the bones on behalf of the Senators, and I'm sure that there's, there's part of that that goes into the thinking there, and, and Giroux sure would love to stay.
But, you know, I, I do think that he's a competitor, and I do think that they're-- I'm, I'm about 50/50 on it, to be honest, on his return to the Ottawa Senators.
Hope he does, because I still think if you look at the top 12 right now, there's very much a place for Claude Giroux and what he delivers, and that is a guy you can almost assuredly get 45 to 55 points out of for the coming season.
And based on what the forward corps looks like right now, they're going to need that.
They're gonna need a guy who can be a really good middle six guy for them, and Giroux can be that.
but at the same time, he's going to want to feel taken care of and respected and all that, so.
