The best player on the US men's national team is Christian Pulisic.
I do think he's different, without a doubt.
But you've got a Weston McKennie that might be the most essential player.
Your best player might not be the most essential player, just like for Argentina.
Me- Messi, like, like we don't even, even need to discuss this, right?
Messi was the best player, but there were so many essential players on like, on, on that team that made the run in 2002, like an Enzo Fernandez.
Like, I don't know if, if Argentina wins the World Cup without an Enzo Fernandez in the midfield.
And I think to s- a certain degree, if you will, Weston McKennie serves such an essential purpose for the men's national team.
so, and, and maybe even Chris Richards, to be honest.
He's, he's Out of the European players, him and Balogun are probably up there with, you know, getting very important minutes, playing extremely important roles for their national teams.
so o- o- of course, Christian is, is the poster boy, but I, I, I don't, I don't know if Christian's ready to carry a team like many superstars can.
But frankly, top teams at World Cups aren't only carried by superstars.
this isn't a sport where one guy can do all the, the, the heavy lifting.
So I do think a lot of those essential players, li- like a McKennie, maybe even like a Tyler Adams.
Let's see, you know, what type I haven't seen him in the national team set up in important games in forever, but I do, like, he was, he is so critical to the US men's national team.
