Speaking of trade deadlines, most shocking trade deadline move that, each of you remember.

Drew, let's, uh- Yeah we'll start with you.

I already talked about it, but I'm gonna go back to the Stone one.

I just thought, like I said, I mean, he was kind of the franchise player, in Ottawa, and I just remember of the last probably 10 years, I was looking back, I mean, obviously there was some way older ones from, like, the Joe Thornton one to, I think Gretzky got traded once at the deadline.

But the most recent years, the Stone one is it for me.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I'm, I'm just gonna go to last year, Mikko Rantanen.

the fact that he was traded twice in the same season, and, and again, I remember, you know, Mike and I, we were doing that live stream, and it was getting to the end of the day and it was like Mikko Rantanen to Dallas.

just the fact that there was that huge swing in power.

And I mean, ultimately, you know, it, it didn't matter because, you know, they, they lost before, the fi- you know, they could even get to the final.

But a player that caliber, you know, and just, and, and the impact he made in the playoffs against Colorado at that, you know, I, I, again, you know, I think it was Cale Makar saying in the off season- Yeah like for, for Rantanen it was like a storybook finish, right?

You know, you get traded from a team and then you end up playing them later on, in the playoffs, after getting traded by another team.

It's still, like, mind-blowing that that was, that that was able to come together and that Carolina was- Yeah able to assess the situation where they were like, "This ain't working and he's not happy here.

We gotta make a deal that, you know- Yeah we can at least live with."

I saw something that's said, like, I think he might be the best player ever to get traded twice, during one season.

Like, I can't recall another player of that caliber getting moved twice at any point, dating back to the last probably 20 years.

Yeah.

I'm gonna also stick with last year.

The Rantanen was mind-blowing, but, you know, let's not forget Brad Marchand went from the Boston Bruins as the captain for a second rounder- True to Florida.

And if he doesn't go to the Panthers, guys, I don't know if Florida wins another Cup last year.

And that was super late in the day, too, I think.

Yeah.

Or at least when it got announced.

Like, I almost felt like, you know, I mean, you guys know how it works probably more than me, but some of those deals get registered super late or, like, right before, but you don't hear about them till an hour.

And I mean, talk about Bill Zito, what another pickup.

I think they gave up a second rounder for him.

Yeah, criminal.

Criminal how little they had to give up for Brad Marchand .

Yeah.
