And if you look at Puckpedia and you see, Jack Hughes is signed for till 2030 and a three-year deal would be till 2030.
So I think that's where we're going here.
So yeah, I'd see if he's got a year left in his contract at $7.8 million.
Honestly, I think he's going to double that.
I think he's going to probably be in the $15 to $16 million range.
And with the cap going up, with Kaprizov making 17, he would be under Kaprizov, but he would still get a nice raise.
And, you know, you have him for three more years and you have a good chance at contending for a Stanley Cup.
You're still in a very tough division.
But I think the goal has always been with the Hughes brothers to play in the same place.
And that doesn't mean New Jersey, but it could be the same place like Detroit or wherever.
But I think that he can sign an extension with Minnesota and fulfill his dream to play with his brothers.
And I think that's what's going to end up happening.
