I, I've been known to say my fair share of dumb things.
This, this one goes firmly in your bucket of dumb things, Brian.
I love when people talk about or write topics and they just throw out declarative statements as obvious fact when they super aren't.
Like, the, the, the way that he either starts or, or quickly gets to in this, I forget where exactly he says it, but it's like, you know, "Taylor Decker would obviously be an upgrade over Dan Moore."
According to whom?
this, this reads like a person who went to PFF and saw that Dan Moore had sacks attributed to him that were more than the sacks attributed to Taylor Decker and said, "Then this guy must be better."
Number one, from a finan- financial standpoint, this doesn't make any sense, the idea of replacing Dan Moore, who you just paid a four-year, $82 million contract to, who this year has a cap hit of $26.3 million, who this year would have a dead cap of $39.1 million, not to say that he's advocating cutting Dan Moore.
Maybe he just thinks Dan Moore should be the highest-paid backup tackle in a very, very long time in the NFL.
If you want to, if you want to look at the sacks on PFF and d- and determine that that makes the better tackle, that, you know, do you.
all I know is that right now it is July 6th, and Taylor Decker, at age 32, is unemployed and currently looking for a job.
A little over a year ago, Dan Moore was a free agent and was bid on by every team in the league that needed a tackle, and he went to the highest bidder, the Tennessee Titans, who paid him a, a contract with a full term of $82 million.
Taylor Decker is, is not desirable in that way at all right now to the entire league.
That is being made clear by their actions.
He is, m- not too old to play football by any means, but he is over the hill in the, in a way that Dan Moore is not
