Intriguing GTA-Like Action Adventure Game Gets PlayStation 5 Release Date

A "budget GTA " action adventure game by Liquid Swords has finally received a PS5 release date, and it's out in two weeks. Spearheaded by Just Cause creator Christofer Sundberg, Samson: A Tyndalston Storyis a noir game that, as we've said before, might also appeal to Max Payne fans.

Described as a "consequence-heavy noir action game," Samson will launch on the PS5 on September 21. The game is already out on PC, where it earned average reviews from players and critics alike.

That said, Samson does have an intriguing premise and might be worth trying. Check out a new trailer below:

Players step into the shoes of Samson McCray, "a man fighting to stay ahead of a crushing debt that tightens by the hour."

"Violence, desperation, and quick judgment are the only tools he has left as Tyndalston pushes back at every turn," an official overview reads. "Combat is grounded, physical, and dangerous. The city responds to your actions, forcing you into a loop where pressure defines every choice you make."

A price for Samson's console versions has not been announced. However, PS5 players can wishlist the title on the PS Store.
