Dana Yewbank is a Staff Travel Writer at Yahoo Travel, covering budget travel, long-haul flights, solo exploring, road-tripping and off-the-beaten-path itineraries. With 42 states, 15 countries and four continents logged, Dana has been criss-crossing the globe since 2010 and spends almost as much time on the road as she does at home. Dana has cold-plunged in the Oslo Fjord in the middle of winter, studied herbalism with traditional medicine practitioners in the Colombian cloud forest and, at just 20 years old, backpacked solo 1,000+ miles across New Zealand.
