Get caviar ‘tea service,’ look over Back Bay at Boston’s newest rooftop bar
Those looking to take their next Boston cocktail hour to new heights can check out the city's latest rooftop bar.
Bubble Bath , located atop the citizenM hotel in Back Bay, opened on Wednesday, Aug. 6. The rooftop destination is an elevated version of celebrity chef and owner Tiffani Faison's champagne and wine bar of the same name located at High Street Place in Downtown Boston.
"Bubble Bath was never just about champagne," Faison said in a press release. "It's about joy, about creating a place where people feel welcome to indulge, celebrate, and connect. At this location, we've added more of everything: more views, more bubbles, more beauty and more fun."
The new Bubble Bath features clear views of Boston and Cambridge, an expanded beverage program and various small plates. Standout finger foods include Greek salad bites, cucumber with whipped feta, kalamata powder and herbs, Ventresca tuna salad and whipped lemon mayo and a chicken "tikka" salad with yogurt, sultanas, mint and cilantro.
Dishes are designed to be pair perfectly with Bubble Bath's signature cocktails. Popular concoctions include the peachy tequila-based Bloom, fruity Italian-inspired Memorie and the Silk, which blends three kinds of Vermouth with gin and vodka.
However, Bubble Bath's standout offering is its caviar "tea service." The table-side service comes with several accoutrements, such as mini biscuits and cannoli. The service can also be paired with a choice of champagne or vodka.
In addition to plenty of bubbly drinks, elements of Bubble Bath's name are evident in the space's design.
The 108-seat interior features dusty pink banquettes, oversized windows and a "bubbled" ceiling with accompanying art installation entirely made of bubbles.
The seasonal patio fits another 81 guests and bathes people in unobstructed views of the Charles River, Bunker Hill and all of Back Bay.
Bubble Bath can be found by taking the elevators to the top of citizenM in Back Bay, which is located at 408 Newbury St., Boston.
The bar is open from 5 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
