Fostering a dog is a noble act. Many dogs are stuck in shelters waiting for a chance to be seen by a family while living in crowded, noisy conditions. Living in a home gives foster dogs a chance to truly rest while they await their forever family. Someone who is well known in the animal advocacy world for their consistent fostering and advocacy is Isabel Klee. Through social media, Klee has allowed viewers into her foster world, showcasing each pet with love until they eventually find their new home.

One of her most recent fosters is a former stray dog, Marmie, a sweet girl of unknown breed who is coming from very harsh conditions. While Klee and Marmie are still working on helping her navigate her new world, we got to learn a new quirk of hers that, honestly, I think most of us would agree with.

Coming from tough conditions, Marmie has made it very clear that several triggers make her react. Unfortunately for her foster dad, one of those triggers happens to be men. While it seems like her relationship with her new foster dad seems to go up and down, it's safe to say she isn't completely convinced by him. This often means barking matches and growling at her foster dad, as seen in various videos.

Thankfully for her foster dad, they may have found the one way to get close to her: cheese . Like most of us, Marmie seems to let her defenses down when presented with a little treat. Presenting her with various bits of cheese with very hilarious poses, Marmie's foster dad managed to stop her from barking. This is at least until the next piece of cheese comes around. A cheese cycle, if you will.

An interesting turn of events for this foster family, the comment section had plenty to talk about with this cute and sassy girl. "Love how this teaches the dog, 'If I scream at this man in particular, I will get cheese,'" said one commenter. Clearly, Marmie has trained her new foster dad well. Another viewer added, "Plot twist she loves him but knows how to get the cheese."

Although we hope Marmie finds her future family soon and that her future is full of love and cheese, we will enjoy these fun little moments with her  foster family  for a bit longer.
