Taco Bell Ready to 'Spark Obsession' With Limited-Edition Menu Collab
- Taco Bell introduces a new Diablo sauce in collaboration with Mike's Hot Honey, marking the first-ever partnership between the two brands.
Taco Bell is finally letting fans in on what was a secret : the arrival of an all-new Diablo sauce.
On Thursday, the Mexican-inspired fast food joint offered up the details of its "groundbreaking" new addition, which happens to not only be its first-ever collaboration with Mike's Hot Honey but the first time the cult-favorite hot honey brand has ever partnered to develop a new flavor.
According to a press release, the new sauce "challenges" customers "to forget everything" they thought they knew about hot honey with its "unapologetically spicy" and "totally new" blend that balances the "complex, peppery kick of chili heat" with just the right amount of sweetness.

Mike's Hot Honey Diablo Sauce blends the high-quality honey infused with chili peppers with Taco Bell's bold, smoky and fiery Diablo heat.
"Our sauces spark obsession–fans collect them, remix them and make them part of who they are," Taco Bell's global chief food innovation officer Liz Matthewsshared in a statement, adding that working with the ever-popular Mike's Hot Honey "felt like the ultimate way to build on our legacies of sauce innovation."
"Now we've got this delicious sweet-heat experience that transforms every dip, dunk, or drizzle into something fans have never tasted from us before," Matthews said.
Mike's Hot Honey founder, Mike Kurtz, praised the restaurant chain for the way it "values culinary creativity," noting that the partnership's end result explores "the power of sweet heat in a way that has never been done before."
"Together, we've reimagined what hot honey can be, blending it with Diablo Sauce to create something totally new and unforgettable," Kurtz added.
The new sauce is available at participating Taco Bell locations nationwide with every order of chicken nuggets . Fans can also grab the Mike's Hot Honey Diablo Sauce a la carte for $0.25 while supplies last.
To celebrate the launch, Taco Bell Rewards Members will have the chance to claim a limited-edition Mike's Hot Honey Jacket "so they can channel their sauce fandom in style wherever they go."
The drop will be first come, first served for 500 Rewards Members on Tuesday, May 27 at 2 pm PST, exclusively in the Taco Bell app.
