Mountain Dew has a new flavor on the horizon–yes, another new one –and it's also a restaurant-exclusive partnership, this time with Taco Bell .
It was only last week that the fan-favorite soda brand confirmed its new Mango Rush flavor would be heading to Little Caesars this summer. Now, fans are hearing whispers that the new variety the chain teased at its second-annual Live Más event earlier this year is getting ready to be released.

Reputable food bloggers Markie_devo and Snackbetch were among the first to report the flavor is slated to be a summer release that's heading to restaurants soon–but maybe not soon enough for some, as one report suggested August 14 as the projected nationwide rollout but that has yet to be confirmed by either brand.

How long it will be around is currently unclear as well, however, Markie_devo reports it will debut as a new permanent flavor.
Reps for Mountain Dew and Taco Bell did not immediately reply to Parade's request for comment.
What has been confirmed regarding the collaboration is that it will be available exclusively at Taco Bell restaurants and will be passionfruit flavored.
According to an official description shared at the March 4 event, Mountain Dew Baja Blast Midnight features "a sweet and refreshing blast of passionfruit flavor combined with the familiar tropical lime flavor of Baja Blast to perfectly complement any Taco Bell meal ."
