A Boston suburb has lost a longstanding establishment.

China Rainbow in Watertown closed last weekend after more than 50 years of service.

A Facebook post from realtor Anthony Susi indicated that the old-school eatery was closing on Saturday, Dec. 20 as the owner, Tammy Young, seeks retirement.

"All my friends who enjoy China Rainbow, go get your Chinese fix before Tammy closes and retires on Dec 20th," Susi wrote in the post alongside a picture of a message taped to the front door of the restaurant.
