Chick-fil-A welcomes new standalone concept, offering coffee, juices, smoothies
Chick-fil-A opened a new restaurant last week, expanding its concept from fast casual chicken meals to coffee, smoothies and breakfast items.
The new concept, called Daybright, opened in Hiram, Georgia and serves "handcrafted coffee beverages, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and food made with simple ingredients," a company spokesperson told USA TODAY in an emailed statement.
The menu also features doughnuts, stuffed English muffins and some breakfast-like entrees such as the Sunrise Sandwich and the Daily Press Burrito. Kids' menus will also be offered, according to the Augusta Chronicle .
Daybright operates as a standalone concept by Red Wagon Ventures, a subsidiary of Chick-fil-A, and notably will not include the core fast-food chain's menu items.
The location offers a full dining room and a dual-lane drive-thru. It will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Similarly to Chick-fil-A, Daybright is closed on Sundays.
"With schedules busier than ever, we know people are looking for easy, convenient ways to enjoy quality food and beverages," said David Farmer, vice president of Red Wagon Ventures, in a statement to USA Today. "Daybright is designed with this in mind, offering delicious beverages and portable bites intended to delight customers and help boost their busy days."
This expansion follows Chick-fil-A's September 2023 opening of Little Blue Menu in College Park, Maryland, which featured the classic Chick-fil-A menu in addition to other fast food favorites such as pizza, burgers and onion rings, Common Sense reports.
Chick-fil-A has 24 locations in Massachusetts, according to the company's website .
