Nationwide recall alert: Gooder Foods recalling these pasta products
Gooder Foods, Inc. has issued a recall for multiple lots of two Goodles pasta products due to undeclared allergens that have already caused several allergic reactions.
The Santa Cruz-based company announced on September 10, 2025, that certain packages of Vegan Is Believin' – Plant Based White Cheddar with Spirals may contain milk not listed on the label. Additionally, some packages of Here Comes Truffle – Creamy Truffle Flavored Cheddar and Shells may contain undeclared cashews.
The company reported that eight allergic reactions have been linked to the products so far – six from the truffle-flavored product and two from the vegan variety.
The affected pasta was produced between April 7 and April 15, 2025, and distributed nationwide through wholesale distributors, operators, and online sales from April 29 to August 5, 2025.
For the Vegan Is Believin' product, consumers should check for 5.25 oz packages with lot codes 09725N, 09825N, 09925N, 10025N, and 10125N, which have best-by dates of July 7-11, 2026.
The recalled Here Comes Truffle products are in 6 oz packages with lot codes 10125N, 10425N, and 10525N, with best-by dates of July 11, 14, and 15, 2026.
Gooder Foods initiated the recall after receiving consumer feedback about the undeclared allergens. The company is now notifying distributors, retailers, and consumers who may have purchased affected lots.
Consumers with allergies or severe sensitivities to milk or cashews could experience serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products. Those who purchased the recalled pasta should not eat it and can return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
Anyone concerned about an allergic reaction should seek medical advice promptly.
