StopBox USA recalls AR-15 Chamber Lock Pro due to safety concerns

StopBox USA has issued a recall for its AR-15 Chamber Lock Pro firearm locks shipped between June 2 and July 15, 2025. The Spokane Valley, Washington-based company is offering customers full refunds or replacements for the affected devices.

The recalled product, designed to prevent AR-15 style rifles from firing by securing the chamber, features anodized aluminum construction and comes in red and black colors. The lock includes five finger-operated buttons and bears the StopBox "S" logo and "CHAMBER LOCK PRO AR-15" laser etching on its rear surface.

While no incidents or injuries have been reported, the company is advising consumers to immediately discontinue use of the affected locks and secure their firearms through alternative means. The locks were sold nationwide through StopBox USA's stores, online platform, and authorized dealers for approximately $150 during June and July 2025.
