Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) offers a variety of summer learning opportunities designed to keep students engaged, challenged, and on track for success. Whether your child is looking to strengthen academic skills, explore new interests, or get ahead in their studies, FCPS has programs tailored to meet their needs. From credit-bearing high school courses to fun and enriching camps for younger students, our summer programs provide a supportive and stimulating environment for all learners. CTE Summer Academy
Career and Technical Education Summer Academy (CSA) helps students build on their skills and explore career pathways. Students design their experience by choosing their classes. This camp is open to students currently in grades 6-11.
Credit Recovery
Through Credit Recovery, students in grades 7-12 may recover one high school course credit.
Elementary Institute for the Arts (E-IFTA)
E-IFTA is a weekly arts camp for elementary aged students who love to sing, dance, act, perform, make, and create. Students take part in four classes every day related to dance, music, theatre, and visual art. They work with FCPS fine arts teachers who create classes that are fun and engaging.

Extended School Year (ESY) Services
This main page for Extended School Year (ESY) services. Special education and related services are provided beyond the normal school year for the purpose of providing a free appropriate public education (FAPE).
Online Campus
Online courses are open to eligible high and middle school students who meet prerequisites and technical requirements. Learn which courses you can take online.
Institute for the Arts (IFTA)
The Institute for the Arts (IFTA) is a two or three-week summer enrichment program for students in middle school and high school. Students select from nearly 60 classes!
Self-Directed Economics and Personal Finance
Summer is a great time to fulfill the Economics and Personal Finance course requirement. Current students must work independently to complete the requirements.
Tech Adventure Camp
Create, explore, and learn with Tech Adventure Camp! This exploratory enrichment camp is offered to students currently in kindergarten - grade 5.
Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology Summer Learning Opportunities
