The library is an accessible and welcoming place where students and adults are surrounded by engaging books and opportunities to inquire. Students are heard and valued as learners, readers, and thinkers. The library is present to create lifelong readers and learners by enabling students to seek and create new knowledge while making real-world connections.  

In accordance with the regulations of Fairfax County Public Schools, the library does not censor student reading choices. We strongly encourage parents or guardians to review the books their children are selecting to read and make their own decisions about what they consider appropriate. If you have concerns about what your child is reading or if you would like book suggestions, feel free to contact the librarian.
