Mrs. Samuels was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She hasn't always been a teacher. After graduating from college, she worked for an insurance company until she decided she wanted to educate our future leaders and become a teacher. Her first teaching job was here at Rose Hill Elementary School in 2007 and has been a Rocket ever since. She has taught all of the even grades: 2 ^nd , 4 ^th , and 6 ^th . 

One of the most important things to her is family. Without their support, she couldn’t have become the teacher that she is today.  

Originally from Virginia Beach, Ms. McGee feels most at home near the water. Her passion for teaching first arose at the age of 14 when she got her first job teaching swimming lessons. That passion remained as she pursued an Undergraduate Degree from James Madison University (Go Dukes!) and a Master’s Degree from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!). Outside of Rose Hill, Ms. McGee enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
