Ms. Farooq 2nd Grade Teacher
Mr. Feeley2nd Grade Teacher This is currently my 8th year teaching. I have taught Kindergarten to 6th grade Mr. Feeley graduated with a Bachelor’s in Anthropology/Sociology from the University of Maine in Farmington in 2015. He also graduated with a Master’s in Education from the American College of Education in 2020. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with his family and friends, and visiting our nation’s National Parks!
Mrs. Forte2nd Grade Teacher Mrs. Forte started her teaching career as an elementary school teacher in Arlington Independent School District (AISD) in Arlington, Texas. Mrs. Forte taught third grade for three years at Stenwood Elementary and she taught fourth grade for one year at Freedom Hill Elementary. Mrs. Forte joined Coates in 2015 as a third grade teacher for 9 years and then in 2024-2025, she moved to second grade. Mrs. Forte graduated from UTA with her undergraduate degree in Broadcast Communications and went back to school to obtain her teaching license in Elementary Education. She can be often seen spending quality time with her husband Anthony and volunteering at McLean Bible Church. Mrs. Forte loves cooking, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her husband for relaxation.
Ms. Lee2nd Grade Teacher Ms.Lee is a first year teacher at Coates Elementary School. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Childhood Pre-Education and Master’s in Curriculum and Education from Virginia Tech. In her free time, she loves to run, work out at the gym, and spend time with friends and family.
Ms. Luecke2nd Grade Teacher Ms. Luecke has been teaching since 2015 in all grades K-3. She graduated with her Bachelors in Education from Salisbury University and her Masters in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University. When Ms. Luecke is not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Njuguna2nd Grade Teacher Ms. Njuguna has been teaching since 2007. She graduated from University of Nairobi. She has a wealth of experience in teaching elementary school spanning over a decade. When she is not teaching she enjoys hiking trails, sight seeing and reading novels.
Ms. Sell2nd Grade Teacher Ms. Sell has taught in three states over the last decade including Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Virginia. She is excited to take on the challenge of a new grade level after eight years in first grade. She is a Millersville Alumni of the University in Pennsylvania. Her son will begin his school career this year in Loudon County. Ms. Sell enjoys swimming, crafting and going on adventures with her son.
Ms. Swigart 2nd Grade Teacher Ms. Swigart is delighted to be returning to 2nd grade for the 2025-2026 school year. She has been teaching elementary for 16 years with 7 years in 2nd grade. She has a B.A. from Morehead State University in her home state of Kentucky and a Master's in Education from Old Dominion University. She loves to hike, volunteer with community theatre, travel, bridge walk and spend time with her two adult sons and cats, Allie and Baby Kitty.
Ms. Wanamaker2nd Grade Teacher Ms. Wanamaker started her teaching career in Virginia Beach Public Schools. She started as a long term sub, moving into a general assistant role working with small groups in grades 1-5, and eventually getting a second grade teacher role in 2022. Ms. Wanamaker graduated from Old Dominion University in 2020 with a bachelor of Science. In her free time she enjoys traveling, going to museums, and photography.
