Lake Anne's Eco-School Program
FCPS is partnered with the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) and works closely with NWF’s Eco-Schools USA program to provide a framework for students to engage in environmental action at their school. Schools earn Bronze, Silver, and Green Flag awards for student action in identifying and addressing environmental issues at their schools. Lake Anne Elementary is proud to be recognized as an Eco-School, earning four Green Flags, including the prestigious “Lifetime” Green Flag Achievement Award. This honor highlights our unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, stewardship, and education.
