Every student deserves an education that prepares them for lifelong learning, success in the world, and the space to be an affirmed individual.

In FCPS Libraries, students develop knowledge and skills, experience a sense of belonging, find inspiration and support, and have the ability to freely pursue their personal interests and academic growth. We can accomplish this by:

• Encouraging a love of reading
• Providing access to learning resources in a variety of formats
• Teaching skills necessary to locate, use and evaluate resources
• Collaborating with other educators to design learning strategies that support the curriculum
