1st time Campers

First time Camp Girls

1. We send each new camper an individual Camper Questionnaire after enrollment. This questionnaire allows your daughter to tell us a little bit about herself, including what she is looking forward to and what she might be a little nervous about.

2. We also send a  Horseback Riding Questionnaire  that enables your daughter to tell us more about her horseback riding skills and what she would like to achieve while at camp.

3. Our Parent Handbook, which a parent can access online, provides the ins and outs for preparing for a summer at overnight camp. From packing information to local places to stay, this handbook is a great resource for "all things camp."

4. Our counselors, directors and administrators pay special attention to all new campers each summer. Whether you have a question before camp or during camp, the staff is always available to help! Feel free to give our office a call at any time as you are preparing for your first summer at WildHorse.

5. In addition, the staff at Camp WildHorse is devoted to spending all hours of day and night with the campers. We ensure that children are supervised at all times by our qualified personnel. The beauty of a small community is that no camper get unnoticed. We are always here to answer their questions, tend to their requests to make camp more comfortable.

Camper Interaction

When campers arrive, everyone is excited. Kids are thrilled to meet new arrivals and see what they are up to, where they are from, and how they ride.
Aside from joining each other for horseback riding lessons, the girls participate in other, unrelated bonding events. Even something as simple as washing the farm dog, transforms a few strangers into members of a team.

"Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success." Henry Ford
