Steps to upgrade

Follow the steps in Set up API access to enable the Data Manager API and generate credentials.

Note: The Data Manager API requires credentials with a different scope than the Google Ads API. You must generate new credentials that include the Data Manager API scope.
Install a client library .
Use Field mappings to convert your Google Ads API requests to Data Manager API requests.
Send conversions to your Google Ads account using the Data Manager API.
Verify the results using diagnostics and performance reports in the Google Ads UI or the Google Ads API .
