There are two ways to change your language for the Looker Studio user interface. You can change your language either for all Google services or for only Looker Studio.
- To change the language on all of your web-based Google services, follow the steps on the Change your language on the web documentation page.
- To change your language in Looker Studio only, add the
?hl=parameter to your URL, replacing<language code>with a supported language code . For example, to change your language to Spanish, enter the following URL in your browser:lookerstudio.google.com?hl=es
Limits
Note the following limits of changing the interface language:
- Text in your data won't be translated.
- Labels, field names, or other text elements that you have edited in Looker Studio won't be translated.
- You cannot change the language for other Looker Studio users.
- You cannot set a language at the report or chart level.
- For Google Analytics and Google Ads data sources, if you change your language and then refresh your data source fields , the field names will revert to their default names in the new language.
- When you schedule a report delivery, the content of the report, such as numbers and dates, will appear in English, even if your Google Account is set to another language.
