The popular Lakefront Music Fest is a country music show which is held in Prior Lake, Minnesota. It is a two-day event and on both days there is jamming Rock and Country Music bands gather together to play music at Lakefront Park.
The whole festival is entertaining with talented artists sharing their music, food stalls, and trucks, and money earned from these shows actually goes to Prior Lake Rotary Foundation.
This year, the 15th anniversary of the festival was celebrated on July 13, with an amazing lineup including Pat Benatar and BTO. Also on July 14th, the festival featured Elle King and Dierks Bentley.
The event is officially set for July 11th and 12th 2025. The lineup which is highly anticipated was announced by Prior Lake Rotary with next year just around the corner.
It is expected that classic rock bands will perform and rock the night out. The audience will really be excited for the most anticipated headliner, Foreigner, and the openings by 38 Special and LoverBoy.
The Performance will be held on Friday, 11 July 2025 at its historic location and the lineup will have a high-energy show with their iconic hit tracks.
One of the most iconic rock bands, Foreigner, known for their classic catchy melodies and legendary live performances is going to perform at Music Fest 2025 as the Headliner of the show.
Their timeless classic and the most successful songs ” I Want To Know What Love Is” hit the Billboard Hot 100 and “Cold as Ice”, and “Feels Like The First Time” might be performed live on stage.
The Southern Rock Band formed in Florida is also known for a string of hit songs and this Music Fest they will be the openers for the rocky night. One of the most popular songs, “Hold On Loosely”, is hoped to be performed live.
Their music remains popular today as they are a beloved band and they inspired a lot of other bands they are a part of Southern Rock tradition.
One of the most successful Canadian Rock bands of all time, Loverboy will be opening the Lakefront Fest 2025 along with 38 Special. The band was formed in the late 1970s and quickly gained international popularity.
“Working For the Weekend” and “Turn Me Loose” have become rock staples and their music is still played on American and Canadian radio shows.
Earlier this year the lineup for 2025 Fest was announced and the headlining performance, on day 2 of the festival, will be done by Miranda Lambert, our country star, and the opening show will be performed by the rising artists Randy Houser and Dillon Carmichael.
The second night is on Saturday, July 12 2025 and fans are expecting for unforgettable experience with their favorite artists and already bought a lot of tickets.
The Grammy Award Winner Miranda a highly praised American Country Musician and Songwriter will be headlining the second night at Lakefront Music Fest. Some of her hit singles include “Gunpowder & Lead,” “White Liar,” “Mama’s Broken Heart” and “Kerosene”.
She has received numerous awards and she has won multiple Grammy Awards, CMA Awards, and even Academy of Country Music Awards for her amazing vocals and melodic music.
“Golden-voiced Mississippi native” is not only an amazing country star, but he’s also a gifted songwriter and actor. His soothing vocals are sure to set the perfect mood for the night.
You might know Randy from the hit film “Killers of the Flower Moon” or his chart-topping single “Like a Cowboy.”
Dillon Carmichael, a young rising country ringer, debuted in 2018 with his angelic voice, he wrote a song for Travis Tritt’s new album and will be opening the show with Randy Houser.
The star also released his album “Son of A” and fans liked the song “Hot Beer” he was also seen singing along with his son in his recent shows, fans adored the father-son duo so we really hope that he brings his son to the upcoming Fest.
The official name for the festival is the “Lakefront Jazz & Blues Festival, Prior Lake Rotary’s Lakefront Music Fest” and it is said that the venue has really grown big over the years because the popularity and audience for this event grows every year.
The outdoor festival is located in the metro area of the Twin Cities and the theme for the event depends on each night, one night is Rock and Roll, and the other is country-themed.
There are food trucks everywhere, along with drinks since the festival is huge but that doesn’t mean that they have the same food vendors every year.
This year the most liked vendors were “Taco Palace”, “Rollin Nolens BBQ LLC”, “Kenny’s Meatball Wagon” and many more. The concertgoers liked the cuisine and different dishes and the sitting area was also good.
Being a VIP as your favorite artists perform in front of you is cool. The fest provides VIP seating, but these seats are reserved. It depends on who books it first and gets it, so it might be difficult to get your favorite seat.
The view from here is indeed very memorable and a VIP pass also unlocks access to the front stage.
