　レッスンがスノーボードよる怪我の予防

　Over the past few decades, the popularity of snowboarding has increased tremendously--and so has the number of injuries among snowboarders.
　About half of all snowboarding injuries occur to the upper extremities（四肢）, and fractures（骨折）and dislocations（脱臼）of the wrists, arms, elbows, and shoulders are common.
　In a recent study of snowboarding injuries, researchers found that shoulder and upper arm injuries typically resulted from riders falling forward, while wrists and elbows were more likely to be hurt by a backward fall.
　A lesson with a licensed instructor can be an important tool in avoiding such injuries, as most of the injured snowboarders were beginners who had not taken any snowboarding lessons.
