I've been meaning to write here this year, but as always, time does not permit. Here's whats up:
New Year's Eve was a blast. Nadu and I went to see Three Day's Grave at the Shaw Conference Centre. Nadu was with me right in the middle of it, getting bumped around. She even held my keys and wallet while I went body surfing!
And a nice thing that night was that all public transit was free, and ran until 4:00AM. We took the bus and LRT there and back. The ride home took about twice as long as going there since the buses were making the trips only every hour. But I can't complain about a free ride!
Yesterday Nadu and I met with a photographer, and we picked her to shoot the photos at the wedding. Phew! Another thing off the list. Now there are just a few more things to finsh off - flowers, JP, and sending out the invites are the big ones.
What else...The Oilers are kicking ass, 2nd in their division, 6th in the conference and only a point or 2 out of 2nd place.
Also, the World Junior Championship finals are on tonight. But I won't be able to see most of it - the game starts at 5:30. Who thought of that time? I feel sorry for people who live in Vancouver where it starts at 4:30. Obviously this is so people in the East can watch without having to stay up late. I hope you easterners appreciate it!!!
And to top off the week, I got this little beauty in the mail. It is my lower numbered card, 5/5. Looks sweet, don't it?
